Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation Mobile Health Initiative: Extending Crucial Prostate Cancer Screenings to Medical & Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria
The Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation is honoured to announce the expansion of its mobile prostate cancer screening initiative, providing critical health services to members of the Medical & Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria. From April 17 to April 20, the Foundation conducted an extensive medical outreach at institutions including the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba; Federal Medical Centre, Ebute Meta; Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi; Lagos University Teaching Hospital; and NAFDAC. The expert mobile team offered complimentary prostate cancer screenings for men above 40 years old, along with blood sugar and blood pressure assessments for women and younger men. The four-day event also featured informative health talks and personalised counselling. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and enhancing the well-being of communities in need.
Free Health Screenings Offered by DMF’s Mobile Medical Team at AAAN’s 50th Anniversary Celebration
In celebration of the Advertising Agencies of Nigeria’s (AAAN) 50th anniversary, the Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation’s (DMF) Mobile Medical Team provided free health screenings to all event attendees on April 1, 2023. The initiative included prostate cancer screenings for men above 40, as well as blood sugar and blood pressure assessments for women and younger men. As part of DMF’s mission to ensure healthcare accessibility for all Nigerians, this outreach engaged a diverse audience and reinforced the foundation’s commitment to promoting health and well-being nationwide.
Dozy Mmobuosi Offers N100m Star Prize to the Winner of the First Edition of the Super Cup Football Competition
The Dozy Mmobuosi Super Cup Football Competition has significantly boosted the Nigerian Football League, offering a thrilling pre-season tournament sanctioned by the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL). Sponsored by the Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation and produced by Tingo Media, this annual event brings together elite NPFL clubs to compete for a grand prize of N100 million. The inaugural edition, held at Onikan Stadium in Lagos from December 1–4, 2022, featured top teams like Enyimba, Shooting Stars, Bendel Insurance, and Rangers International. Beyond the competition, the tournament enhances fan engagement, attracts international attention, and provides a platform for emerging football talents to shine on both domestic and global stages.
Walk to commemorate 2022 world prostate cancer awareness day & free screening
The Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation commemorated the 2022 World Prostate Cancer Awareness Day with a solidarity walk and free health screenings for all attendees. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about prostate cancer and promote overall health by offering complimentary screenings, including prostate cancer checks, as well as blood pressure and blood sugar tests. Through this event, the Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to accessible healthcare and early detection, ensuring that more Nigerians receive the medical support they need.
